Terms & Conditions (Workshops & Services)
1. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email or booking form).
A booking is considered confirmed once:
The session details are agreed (date, time, format, topic), and
A confirmation email or invoice has been issued.
For organisations, a purchase order (PO) may be required before delivery.
2. Fees & Payment Terms
Individuals (Parents / Public Workshops)
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Spaces are only secured once payment is received.
Organisations (NHS, HMPPS, Corporates, Charities)
An invoice will be issued:
In advance or immediately after booking (as agreed)
Payment terms:
14–30 days from invoice date
Late payments may result in:
Delay of future bookings
Additional administrative follow-up
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
By Individuals (Parents / Public Workshops)
Full payment is required in advance of delivery
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the session
By Organisations (NHS, HMPPS, Corporates, Charities)
An invoice will be issued upon booking or after delivery (as agreed)
Payment terms are 14–30 days from invoice date
For bookings of 9 participants or more, a 50% deposit is required in advance
The remaining balance is payable after delivery
Cancellations:
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the agreed delivery date to receive a refund (where payment has been made) or to reschedule
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the session
In the unlikely event of cancellation by Umii Says, a full refund or alternative date will be offered
4. Delivery & Participation
Workshops are delivered as agreed (online or in person).
Clients are responsible for:
Ensuring participants attend on time
Providing a suitable environment (for in-person sessions)
The facilitator reserves the right to:
Manage group dynamics
Maintain a respectful and safe learning environment
5. Online Sessions
Access links will be provided in advance.
Participants are responsible for:
Internet access
Appropriate devices
Sessions may be recorded only with prior consent.
Recordings (if provided) are for internal use only and must not be shared externally without permission.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials (slides, handouts, recordings) remain the intellectual property of the business.
Clients may:
Use materials internally for learning purposes
Clients may not:
Reproduce, distribute, or resell content
Deliver the training themselves using provided materials
7. Safeguarding & Conduct
Workshops are delivered in line with safeguarding and professional standards.
Participants are expected to:
Engage respectfully
Avoid discriminatory or harmful behaviour
The facilitator reserves the right to remove participants who breach these expectations.
8. Confidentiality
All discussions within workshops should be treated as confidential.
Personal or sensitive information shared during sessions should not be disclosed outside the session.
The business complies with UK GDPR in handling personal data.
9. Liability
The workshops provide educational and awareness-based information.
The business is not liable for:
Decisions made based on workshop content
Outcomes resulting from implementation of advice
Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
10. Accessibility & Inclusion
Reasonable adjustments will be made where possible to support accessibility needs.
Clients are encouraged to share requirements in advance.
11. Complaints Procedure
Any concerns or complaints should be submitted in writing.
The business will:
Acknowledge within 3–5 working days
Aim to resolve within 14 working days
12. Force Majeure
The business is not liable for delays or cancellations due to events beyond reasonable control, including:
Illness
Travel disruption
Technical failure
Emergencies
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
14. Content Disclaimer
All workshop materials, digital resources and content are developed in line with current industry standards, best practice and available evidence. Content is accurate at the time of drafting and delivery; however, the field of neurodiversity, safeguarding and social inequality is continually evolving. The business reserves the right to update materials accordingly and does not accept liability for changes in guidance, policy or interpretation after delivery.
Our workshops and resources are designed to provide general information and guidance about Autism, ADHD and related topics. They are not a substitute for medical, clinical, legal or specialist advice.
While we take care to ensure that all content is accurate and up to date at the time of delivery, we cannot guarantee outcomes or results based on how the information is used.
We are not responsible for any decisions made or actions taken based on the workshop content. Responsibility for how the information is applied remains with the individual or organisation seeking this workshop.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the workshop or service. Nothing in this agreement limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
